Intimations 19th November
A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our Service today. Soup, Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.
Bible study will meet in Hamilton Hall tomorrow.
Our Girls Brigade will not meet tomorrow as the schools are on holiday.
Our Guild will meet on Wednesday night. Please bring along scissors and a needle.
Our Boys Brigade will meet on Thursday night in Rorison.
The local Nursing Homes will be visited this Friday 24th November. Clinton House 1.45pm, Ballantine Court Unit one 2.15pm and Unit two 2.45pm.
Our Guild Christmas Fayre will take place this Saturday 25th November from 11.30am to 3pm. There will be the usual stalls and any contributions of time or donations will be gratefully received.
Next Sunday here in Dalserf at 11.30am the new CH4 Hymn Books will be dedicated. If you have paid to dedicate a Hymn Book the labels will be on the Communion Table and after the service you can collect your label and place in your book.
If you are missing any items from the Church there are some cushions, Bibles and Hymn Books on the front pew to the side of the pulpit.
Thank you to all who donated shoeboxes. 30 boxes and in excess of £80 was sent to Blythewood Care.
Congratulations and best wishes for Happy Birthday Celebrations to our Session Clerk, Joan Pollok, who celebrates a big birthday on Wednesday 22nd Novembers.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
On Sunday 3rd December a Carol night will take place in Dalserf led by Philip Fox and the Newlife singers. Refreshments will be served.
Our Guild Christmas Dinner will take place in the Bowling Club Ashgill on Wednesday 6th December at 7pm. Cost is approx. £10.00. This is open to any members of the congregation who might wish to attend. If you would like to attend please give your names to our President Kay Blair.
Orchard Nursing Home, Crossford is having a Christmas Fayre on 9th Dec from 2pm – 4pm at Orchard House
Guild Christmas Sing-a-long with Kenny Mason and Friends on Wednesday 13th December in Rorison at 7pm. Cost £5.00
Gift Service in Dalserf on Sunday 17th December. Please bring along a gift marking the age that the gift is suitable for.
Sunday 24th December Christmas Treats will be served in Hamilton Hall at 10pm prior to the Watchnight service here in the Church at 11.30pm.

Sunday 12th November Remembrance Sunday Rorison
A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our Remembrance Service today. Soup, Tea and coffee will be served here in the small hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

There will be a retiring offering for the Poppy Fund and RAF Benevolent Fund today.
Viewpark Church Uddingston are having a Christmas Fayre this coming Saturday 18th November between 11am – 3pm.
The Guild Open Night has been cancelled as the concert party cannot attend due to ill health. The Guild will still meet on 22nd November at 7.15pm
Any items for the December newsletter must be in the hands of the Editor by today.
The painting of Dalserf is now complete and the cleaning company have also finished, restoring of the items will take place tomorrow at 9am. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Again the more people there are the quicker the work will be done and we can get back to worshiping in our very beautiful church on Sunday 19th November. Here in Rorison things have to be put back ie chairs, communion table, lectern etc. So if you are able and can spare 10 – 15 minutes at the end of the service your help with this would also be greatly appreciated.
