Intimations Sunday 23rd September

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Our Girls Brigade will not meet tomorrow night.

There will be a meeting of the Kirk Session on Tuesday night in Rorison at 7.30pm.

Our Guild will meet on Wednesday in Rorison when the speaker will be Moyra Cryer on the subject of “People I have met on my journey.”

Our Boys Brigade will not meet this Thursday.

The Nursing Homes will be visited on Friday Clinton House at 1.45pm and Ballantine Court Unit one at 2.15pm and 2.45pm.

Jessie Anderson is now home from hospital.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

You will have noticed in your September Newsletter that on Wednesday 3rd October in Hamilton Hall Dalserf at 7.30pm, there will be an Evening with Katherine Sanders, Iconographer. The theme of the evening is The Art of ICONS and their place in Eastern Orthodox Worship
Refreshments will be served. Admission is free but donations will be welcome

Sunday 7th October Harvest Service in Dalserf at 11.30am and then at Rorison at 2.30pm.
Please bring along a gift for the Harvest table.

There will be a Service of Thanksgiving on Wednesday 24th October at 1.30pm in Trinity Church Larkhall This is for all the support that has been received by the Foodbank in the five years that it has been in operation. Tea, coffee and home baking will be served in the hall afterwards. If you are interested in attending this service, please let me know as they wish to have an idea of the number of people for catering purposes. Also the Foodbank Management Team are looking for volunteers to cover the Foodbank when it is open on Tuesdays 10.30am – 1.30pm and on Fridays 10.30am – 2.30pm. OUR CONGREGATION

Jessie Anderson has had a fall and is now back in Wishaw General, Ward 10.
Morag Watt now home and recovering from an appendectomy.
Kath Kelly has been involved in a car accident on M74 on Wednesday last week. However she is ok and now in Toronto.
Margaret Kerr, one of our guild ladies has also been in hospital.
