Intimations Sunday 25th March

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Our service here in Dalserf next Sunday 1st April, will be at the usual time of 11.30am when we shall celebrate our Lord’s resurrection. “I am the resurrection and the life he who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” John 11
There will also be a service at Rorison Church Ashgill at 2.30pm.

Our Sunday Pathfinders will finish today for the Easter holidays returning on Sunday 22nd April.
Bible study will meet tomorrow in Hamilton Hall at 11am.

You are invited to join the Girls Brigade at their presentation of awards evening which will take place tomorrow night in Rorison at 7pm. The Girls Brigade will then be on holiday.

The Gathering will meet in Hamilton Hall on Tuesday at 12.30. Soup, tea and biscuits will be served, please bring along any other snacks you may require.

Our Boys Brigade will meet on Thursday night in Rorison.

Easter Appeal continues. The money raised from this will go to the Street Pastors. Place your donation in the envelope, take a copy of the text for your Bible, and hang the cut out egg on the tree.

Tomorrow is the start of Holy Week. Communion will be held in St Machan’s Church this Thursday 29th March at 7.30pm and then there will be a service at the Baptist Church on Good Friday also at 7.30pm.

Also on Thursday this week our two local schools will be attending Dalserf Church for their Easter Service at 10am. All parents, friends and church members are all cordially invited to attend the service demonstrating our support and Christian encouragement to the youngsters of our community.

It is time again to draw up the new rota for tea after the Sunday Service. This is a valuable time of fellowship for those who stay. However there are only 5 couples on the rota and more help is desperately needed. If you feel you could help please speak to Kay Blair.

Congratulations to Mrs Peggy Callan, now resident in Clinton House, who celebrated her 90th birthday on Thursday 22nd March

The Congregational Lunch and AGM will take place immediately after morning worship on Sunday 8th April. Members and adherents are all cordially invited to share in food and fellowship. This is a time to ask questions and to state your views, and also to hear the latest news regarding the future of Dalserf Church. 1st Dalserf Girls’ Brigade are holding their pancake night on Monday night.
Come along to Rorsion between 7-8pm and for £2 you can enjoy a delicious pancake with a range of toppings accompanied by tea, coffee or juice. The Bring and Buy stall will open at 7.15pm. Looking forward to seeing you.

Our Guild will meet in Rorison on Wednesday when it will be our Closing Social Entertainment by the Jubilee Jammers. Tickets £4.00

The Nursing Homes will be visited on Friday starting with Clinton House at 1.45pm, then Ballantine Court at 2.15pm and 2.45pm.
