Intimations Sunday 9th July

There are welcome cards at the end of the pews. If you are a visitor please fill in one of these and place it in the offering plate. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Our Saturday Teas yesterday raised the sum of £432.25

It is with sadness that we intimate the death of Jack McGhie, Linda Marshall’s Dad, yesterday morning. The funeral arrangements are not yet know.

Nancy Rundell, on behalf of Christian aid would like to thank all the Collectors and those who donated to such a worthwhile cause. The sum of £6053.68 was raised in the Larkhall Area.

Philip and Shena Fox wish to thank everyone who helped or attended the Cantilena Concert on Tuesday 4th July. £385.00 was donated to the Islay Festival und and a donation of £76.40 made to Dalserf Church.

In Hamilton Hall there is a box of items for sale from St Andrew’s Hospice. Please have a look at the items in question and help to raise funds for a very good cause.

It is with deep sadness that we intimate the death of Cathie Yuille on Thursday. Cathie’s funeral will take place here in Dalserf on Thursday at 2.30pm and thereafter at Larkhall Cemetery.

This coming Tuesday at 7.30pm there will be a Summer Concert at Dalserf featuring “ Cantilena String Ensemble” directed by Angus Ramsay & Scot Mitchell and the “New Life Singers” led by Philip Fox. Admission by donation (£6 suggested) – proceeds to support the Islay Music Festival.

A special welcome to Rev David Doyle who will be taking our service today and also to Julian Hodgson who will be playing for us in the absence of Shenna and Philip.

Our Church Officer Mrs Norah McGuckin’s husband John passed away on Wednesday. His funeral will be held at Daldowie Crematorium this coming Wednesday at 11am. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.
