Intimations Sunday 18th November

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Soup, tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

The Funeral of Dr Donald Hopkins will take place tomorrow at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 11am.

Bible study will meet in Hamilton Hall tomorrow at 11am.

Our Girls Brigade will meet tomorrow night in Rorison

Our Guild Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday 11am – 3pm. There will be the usual stalls, and donations for them, and also baking for the teas will be most welcome.

May Greenhill has had a bad fall. She has broken her leg and damaged her artificial hip. At present she is in Airbles Road Convalescent Home. I spoke to the family and unfortunately she is also suffering from Alzheimer’s. Can we please remember her in our prayers.

Payment is now due for the Bible reading notes “Every Day with Jesus” this is £17.00. Can you please place your payment in an envelope with your name and give to Ann Carson as soon as possible.

Decembers Newsletters will be available for pick up next Sunday

Intimations Sunday 11th November Remembrance Sunday

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our Remembrance service today. Soup, tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together. There will be a retiring offering after this service for the Earl Haig Fund.

It is with sorrow and regret that we have to intimate the death of Dr Donald Hopkins who sadly died on Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Audrey and family. Funeral will take place on Monday 19th November at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 11am.

Bible study will meet in Hamilton Hall tomorrow at 11am.

Our Girls Brigade will meet tomorrow night in Rorison

Our Guild will meet on Wednesday in Rorison when there will be a Practical evening with Anne Galloway.

A meeting which may interest the Congregation will take place in Dalziel St Andrew’s Church Motherwell on Thursday 15th November the details are below “GOOD HEALTH and WELLNESS for ALL. An evening with Sir Harry Burns on Thursday 15th November 7.30pm – 9.00pm

Christian Outreach Group in Crossford are sponsoring a Men’s Curry and Quiz night this Thursday in the Popinjay Hotel. If you are interested you are asked to make up teams of four. Cost is £5.00 per person. Guest speaker is Jim McDonald Christian Police Association.
