Intimations Sunday 18th June 2017

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today.
There are welcome cards at the end of the pews. If you are a visitor please fill in one of these and place it in the offering plate.
Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together. A special welcome to Rev David Doyle who will be taking our service today and also to Julian Hodgson who will be playing for us in the absence of Shenna and Philip.

Our Saturday Teas yesterday raised the sum of £377.55 Making a total of £1902 at the moment.

In Hamilton Hall there is a box of items for sale from St Andrew’s Hospice. Please have a look at the items in question and help to raise funds for a very good cause.

Our Church Officer Mrs Norah McGuckin’s husband John passed away on Wednesday. His funeral will be held at Daldowie Crematorium this coming Wednesday at 11am. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

“Cantilena String Ensemble“ directed by Angus Ramsay & Scott Mitchell
and the “New Life Singers” led by Philip Fox.
Admission by donation
(£6 suggested) – proceeds to support the Islay Music Festival.
Refreshments at the Interval.

There are welcome cards at the end of the pews. If you are a visitor please fill in one of these and place in the offering plate. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together. There will be a Communion Service in Rorison today at 3.30pm.

There is a prayer meeting in Hamilton Hall each Sunday at 11.10am. Please join us for a short time of prayer before the service. If you would like further information please speak to Sheena Archibald.

This evening in Hamilton Hall at 7pm there will be a Sunday Spotlight. Easter to Pentecost through art will be presented by Mike Taylor. Refreshments will be served.

Next Sunday here in Dalserf will be our Sunday Pathfinders Prize Giving.

It has been brought to our notice that when the Church money is being counted on a Sunday that there are a number of occasions when people enter the room where this is taking place. These interruptions are extremely disturbing to those counting the money so can we please ask that no one enters the room until the counting of the money is completed.

Rita Fairlie has been discharged from hospital and is delighted to be back home.

On Thursday 1st June Stonehouse Jubilee Club are having THE BIG SING with The Jubilee Jammers in Stonehouse Lifestyle Centre the cost is £3.00 inc refreshments. The money raised is for Dementia Awareness Week Time 1.15 for 1.45pm.
If possible anyone going along from Dalserf should let Kay Blair know and the organisers will reserve a table for us.
