Intimations Sunday 23rd June 2019

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. A special warm welcome to Razvan Luculescu who is very kindly playing for us. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Each Sunday morning in Hamilton Hall at 11.15am, there is a short time of prayer and meditation. Please feel free to come and join us you will be made very welcome.

This Friday 28th June we will visit the Nursing Homes. Clinton House 1.45pm followed by Ballantine Court 2.15pm and 2.45pm. If you are able to join us for one or all three you will be made very welcome. This will be our last visit till Friday 27th September.

Larkhall Jubilee Club will meet on 4th Tuesday of the month from 2pm – 3.30pm in Raploch Bowling Club Raploch Street Larkhall. If you are a carer of someone with dementia or you know someone who would benefit from coming to a friendly social afternoon to enjoy music, laughter and friendship please come along you will be made very welcome.

Our Saturday Teas yesterday raised £514.00

SATURDAY TEAS APPEAL
My thanks go to those members of the congregation who responded to last week’s appeal for financial help to buy, coffee, sugar, butter etc. The money donated will help considerably.

CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Forbes Gillespie, a faithful member of our Rorison Congregation, on the occasion of her 80th birthday today. Happy Birthday Forbes.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

There will be an exhibition of paintings at Fives Court Low Parks Museum, Hamilton from 1st July – 17th November. Admission is free and features their own collection with loans from the National Galleries of Scotland and The Royal Scottish Academy.

GLASGOW LIGHT OPERA CLUB
On Friday 30th August the above present A MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA in Hamilton Old Parish Church at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7.00 and include refreshments.

ALSO
From 23rd – 26th October they will perform ALL SHOOK UP A Shakespearean story adapted and inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. Ticket prices from £12.00.

BEREAVEMENT
It is with deep sorrow that we intimate the death of Margaret Wilson. Margaret died on Friday in Wishaw General. Margaret was a faithful member of our Congregation, Guild, Focus, House Group and Sunday Prayer Group
We extend our deepest sympathy to her husband John and family and remember them in our thoughts and prayers. There are no funeral arrangements as yet.

DALSERF CHURCH NEWS

Week Beginning 27th June 2019

Sunday Worship on 31st June, will take place in Dalserf Church at 11.30am. The Service will be conducted by Revd John Stevenson.

On Saturday our Teas take place in Hamilton Hall, Dalserf Village from 12 noon – 4pm. We will meet every Saturday till 31st August. Come along and join us and enjoy good food, good company and Christian Fellowship.
