Intimations Sunday 23rd December

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Soup, tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Our Watchnight Service will take place tomorrow night here in the Church at 11.30pm. This will be preceded by Christmas Treats in Hamilton Hall from 10pm.

Our Christmas Appeal is up and running. Please place your donation in the envelope provided, write your name on the tag and hang it on the Christmas Tree. Money raised will go to the Joint Churches Drop in Centre in Hamilton.

The collection for the Huntington Association that took place at our Carol service on Sunday 9th December raised the sum of £460.00

THANK YOU FROM THE FOODBANK

We must again thank you all for your very generous donations to the foodbank throughout the year. At the end of November, we participated in the Tesco National Collection at their branch in Lesmahagow and we were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of donations received which were augmented by an initiative from the local travelling community. The generosity of the public at large never ceases to amaze us. Our customers at the foodbank find it more difficult to cope at Christmas especially those with children. Those of us who volunteer at the foodbank are grateful that we can help to ease their burden because you give so generously. Thank you and God bless you all.

Our warmest congratulations go to Betty & Alex Gillespie who celebrated their Diamond Wedding on Tuesday 18th December.

Mary Grove is still in ward 6 of Wishaw General.

We again remind you that there are Church diaries available on the front pew. Please help yourself.
