Intimations Sunday 31st March 2019

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Each Sunday morning in Hamilton Hall at 11.15am, there is a short time of prayer and meditation. Please feel free to come and join us you will be made very welcome.

Bible study will meet tomorrow in Hamilton Hall at 11am. The Revd John Stevenson will be leading the group in Bible study over the period of Lent.

House Group will meet tomorrow at 1.30pm.

Focus will meet on Thursday in Rorison at 1.45pm when the speaker will be Revd John Stevenson.

The Service in Rorison next Sunday 7th April has been cancelled

The Christian Outreach Group in Crossford have a Coffee and Chat Group the first Thursday of the month from 10am – 12noon. This is held in Crossford Village Hall. From Thursday 4th April there will also be a Drop in Centre for one to one consultation and support for those living with and beyond Cancer.

It is with sadness that we have to say goodbye to Mrs Anne Warnock who is moving out of the area to live. Anne has been a faithful member of Dalserf for many years and those of us who know her well will greatly miss her. Anne you go with our prayers and blessings and our good wishes for many happy years in your new home.

Easter Appeal
We start our Annual Easter Appeal today. Please take an envelope from the basket, hang the egg on the tree and place your donation in envelope.
Money raised will go to help the work of the Joint Churches Drop in Centre in Hamilton

DALSERF CHURCH NEWS

Week Beginning 4th Apr 2019

Sunday Worship on 7th April will take place in Dalserf Church at 11.30am conducted by Revd John Stevenson.
The Choir will meet at 10.30am in Dalserf.

Bible Study meets in Hamilton Dalserf on Monday 8th Apr at 11.00am led by Revd John Stevenson when the topic will be “Reflections on Lent“.

There will be a planning meeting Wed 10th Apr in Rorison at 7.00pm to arrange the Summer Teas held during May to August in Hamilton Hall Dalserf

Our Girls Brigade will meet tomorrow night when the presentation of their awards will take place. Please try and come along and lend your support. They will then be on holiday till Monday 19th August.

The Gathering will meet in Hamilton Hall on Tuesday at 12.30. Soup, tea and biscuits will be served. Please bring along any other snacks you may require. This will be the last meeting till the autumn.

Our Guild closing social will take place in Rorison on Wednesday.

The Nursing Homes will be visited on Friday. Clinton House at 1.45pm followed by Ballantine Court at 2.15pm and 2,45pm. Please feel free to come along to some or all of the above.

Bible Study meets in Hamilton Dalserf on Monday 18th March at 11.00am led by Revd John Stevenson when the topic will be “Reflections on Lent “.

Girls Brigade meet on Monday 25th March in Rorison Church Ashgill. This will be the Annual Presentation of Awards. Please come along and support our GB Officers and Girls.

Tuesday will be the last meeting, for present, of The Gathering in Hamilton Hall Dalserf at 12.30pm.

Wednesday is the Guild Closing social when entertainment will be provided by the Scottish Folk Group Luckebbooth. Tickets are £4.00 and supper will be served

Dear Friends
Thank you very much to all who supported the Girls Brigade Pancake night on Monday evening. Thank you to all who came along on the night, the bakers, pancake makers, tablet makers egg suppliers and several of you who gave donations. We raised a fabulous £520 which will all be used to continue the work with our Girls on a Monday night.


Our presentation of awards evening is on Monday 25th March at 7pm and we would be delighted to see you then.

Soup, tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed again today in Rorison at 2.30pm.

Each Sunday morning in Hamilton Hall at 11.15am, there is a short time of prayer and meditation. Please feel free to come and join us you will be made very welcome.

Bible study will meet tomorrow in Hamilton Hall at 11am.

House Group will meet tomorrow at 1.30pm.

Our Girls Brigade will meet tomorrow night. This will be their Pancake Night to raise funds.
