Henderson/Bruce Ancestors and/or descendents?
Hello! How exciting to find this site! We discovered our Dalserf connection only recently--and have traced the family tree as far back as William Henderson and Margaret Bruce (my Great Great Great Grandparents!) who married at Dalserf Parish Church in 1784. We have yet to discover the parents of either one. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (We do know there are still Henderson descendents living in Dalserf !)

Lambie, Golder and more
Hello, I am so happy to find your website. Just recently I have finally traced my roots to Dalserf Parish. I always knew my Great Grandfather, a Gillespie, was from Edinburgh, Scotland, but never knew exactly where. Ancestry.com has provided the gateway to arrive here. I would love to see a listing of headstones and get photos of any of mine. I can trace my ancestors to Hugh and Janet (Scott) Lambie married 25 June, 1803 (on my Gr.Gr.Grandmothers Paternal side). On her Maternal side it starts with Isabel Golder daughter of John (1769 - Lanarkshire, married 1798 or 1799 to Margaret Weir). I am not certain, but think, that side goes back paternally to John Golder (1740), William Golder 1721, William Golder 1690, John Golder 1652, James Golder 1630. Can anyone provide any information on th Gillespies, Lambies, Janet Scott, James Scott, Jane Cochrane, Golders, Weirs, Marion Somers, Marion Fleming, or Marion Hamilton? Would any of these people be buried in your churchyard. Thanks so much for any help you can provide. I live near Chicago, USA.

Thank you!
Just wanted to say hello and tell you how glad I am to find you online. I have recently discovered that I have ancestors from Dalserf, the Teesdales. I knew I must have Scotland in me someplace; I have such a draw to your beautiful country. Someday, I will come visit in person, instead of just through cyberspace. But, for now, I am happy to be able to visit this way. Thank you!
