Dear friends,
 Today the new worship area at Rorison which is being called "The Sanctuary" was in use for the first time - in the afternoon for Focus and in the evening for The Boys' Brigade. It has not been agreed as yet when the dedication will take place. Since it will be used for a service on Sunday 6th May that would seem a fitting opportunity if the Session concur. Looking at the Church calendar May is going to be a busy month. On Thursday 3rd we have the joint BB/GB award ceremony and service in place of the display. The Annual Rally held in our parish every year by the Faith Mission is in Rorison on Friday 18th. This has sometimes been a very poorly attended event which is a pity because the preaching is always good. I would encourage you to come along and bring someone with you to hear the gospel on the same basis as our own Guest Services. The Larkhall Churches Joint Pentecost service will be on Sunday 27th. On 12th. and 13th. we have the Open Days. On top of all that Dalserf is to be represented at the General Assembly this year. Ann Carson and I will attend as commissioners on behalf of the congregation. Ann Carson in her capacity as roll keeper intimated at the Annual Congregational Meeting that at present the roll stands at only one less than it was at the end of 2005. Since we have at least one person joining by profession of faith some time this year we could say that our roll is static. That is certainly better than declining which is the norm these days although I would like us to aim at growing.
