Funerals PDF Print
If you wish the services of the Dalserf minister for a funeral the undertaker will usually contact him at your request.

Service Venue

In many cases the funeral parlour will be considered to be the most convenient venue for the service on account of its centrality and accessibility. However, should you prefer a church building, Dalserf Church in the Clyde Valley or Rorison Memorial Church in Ashgill could be made available. There is no charge for the use of the building.

Fees

Any monetary gift given to the minister will be regarded as a donation to the church and be used for Christian purposes. It would be appropriate for the organist to receive the same fee for playing in church as at the parlour (please check with undertaker). Also the church officer would be involved in preparing the church, receiving mourners etc. and should receive a fee of £25. In cases of hardship, these fees may be covered by our Benevolent Fund; this applies to the organist's fee even if the service is in the parlour.

Form

The funeral information form (which you may download from the download section) is by no means a substitute for the ministers visit only a help in ensuring accurate information. If you find filling this in difficult for whatever reason, please do not worry about it, we can fill it in together when the Minister visits.
