Weddings can be held on any day except Sunday and at any time you choose provided of course the church is free.
It is important to arrange an interview involving both bride and groom and the minister as soon as possible. Tel. 01698 882195. Normally the church will be booked for the date of your wedding only after the interview in person with the minister, except where it has been arranged that another minister will conduct the wedding in which case the minister concerned must have firmly agreed to do it. Filling in the form involves no obligation either way, this is primarily for administation purposes. Bookings are on a “first come first served” basis. In the case of a wedding conducted by another minister the date and time should be confirmed in writing to avoid as far as possible any misunderstanding.
The Minister runs a Marriage Preparation course involving five talks on video which can be covered in three evenings. Couples contemplating marriage are very welcome to attend this excellent course which costs only £10 to cover materials.
