Intimations Sunday 9th June 2019

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our service today. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together.

Each Sunday morning in Hamilton Hall at 11.15am, there is a short time of prayer and meditation. Please feel free to come and join us you will be made very welcome.

Bible study is now on holiday returning in September

Larkhall Jubilee Club will meet on 4th Tuesday of the month from 2pm – 3.30pm in Raploch Bowling Club Raploch Street Larkhall. If you are a carer of someone with dementia or you know someone who would benefit from coming to a friendly social afternoon to enjoy music, laughter and friendship please come along you will be made very welcome.

Our Saturday Teas yesterday raised £420.00

DALSERF CHURCH NEWS

Week Beginning 13th June 2019

Sunday Worship on 16th June, will take place in Dalserf Church at 11.30am. The Service will be conducted by Revd John Stevenson.

On Saturday our Teas take place in Hamilton Hall, Dalserf Village from 12 noon – 4pm. We will meet every Saturday till 31st August. Come along and join us and enjoy good food, good company and Christian Fellowship.

A warm welcome is extended to any visitors to our Communion service today. Tea and coffee will be served in Hamilton Hall after the service and you are invited to join us for a short time of fellowship together. There will be a Communion service today in Rorison Church at 2.30pm.

Each Sunday morning in Hamilton Hall at 11.15am, there is a short time of prayer and meditation. Please feel free to come and join us you will be made very welcome.

Bible study will meet tomorrow in Hamilton Hall at 11am

House Group will meet tomorrow at 1.30pm.

Stonehouse Jubilee Club presents The Big Song & Dance Thursday 6th June in Lifestyle Centre Stonehouse. In support of Dementia Awareness Week. Entry £3.00 Doors open 1pm. Anyone interested should speak to Kay Blair today.

Our Saturday Teas yesterday raised £445.41

Our Love and Congratulations go to Sheena and Bruce Archibald who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday.

It is with sadness that we intimate the death of David Doyle’s Father who died on Sunday in Willowbank Nursing Home Hamilton. The Funeral will be in St Mary’s Church Motherwell. Further details to follow.
We extend our sympathy to David and his family and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Our Guild Outing went to Dunfermline yesterday

There will be a Kirk Session meeting on Tuesday in Rorison at 7.30pm.

Our local Nursing Homes will be visited on Friday. Clinton House at 1.45pm followed by Ballantine Court Unit A at 2.15pm and then Unit B at 2.45pm.

Newsletters and Communion Cards are available for distribution today.

Next Sunday here in Dalserf the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed at 11.30am and then at Rorison Church at 2.30pm.

Sunday Worship on 2nd June, will take place in Dalserf Church at 11.30am and Rorison Church Ashgill at 2.30pm when the Sacrament of Holy Communion will take place. Both Services will be conducted by Revd John Stevenson.

10.30am going on to Ashgill Shop and Netherburn Shop.

There will be a Safeguarding Training in Hamilton Gilmour Church on 18th June at 7.00pm. Anyone who is PVG checked and has not atended a training course should endeavour to go as training is being insisted upon by Presbytery. Places are limited. Our Saturday Teas began yesterday and raised £358.40.

Any items for the June Newsletter must be in the hands of the Editor by today. This will be the last Newsletter till September. There will be no newsletter July and August.
So if you wish to have something put in please have it in the hands of the Editor today.

Norah our Church Officer is home and is recovering well from her knee surgery.

Christian Aid week begins today till 18th May. Envelopes were handed out today and when filled can be placed in the offering plate.
